Terms and Conditions & Warranty

Thank you for choosing SK ProDesign. We are committed to delivering high-quality, custom-made sliding wardrobes and professional installation. Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before placing your order.

1. Quotation and Acceptance

All quotations are valid for the period stated on the quotation.

By accepting our quotation, the customer confirms acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and Warranty.

2. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be specified on the quotation or invoice.

The final payment must be completed before or on the day of installation unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Installation

Professional delivery and installation are included where stated in the quotation.

Standard installation includes dismantling of one existing wardrobe unless otherwise agreed.

Removal and disposal of old furniture or waste materials are not included unless specifically stated in the quotation.

The customer is responsible for ensuring safe and suitable access to the installation area.

If materials must be carried above the second floor without the use of a suitable lift, additional handling charges may apply.

Any delays or additional work caused by restricted access may result in additional charges.

Electrical work, plumbing, plastering, painting, flooring or building alterations are not included unless agreed in writing.

4. Warranty

SK ProDesign provides the following warranty under normal residential use:

• Five-year warranty on installation (fitting).

• Seven-year warranty on the sliding door system.

• One-year warranty on the soft-close mechanism.

The warranty covers defects in workmanship and manufacturing only.

5. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure the wardrobe operates correctly, the customer should:

• Keep the tracks and rollers clean.

• Remove dust, hair, pet hair and other debris regularly.

• Avoid overloading shelves and drawers.

• Ensure clothing, belts, socks, shoes or other objects do not obstruct the movement of the sliding doors.

• Allow the soft-close mechanism to close the doors naturally without forcing or slamming them.

6. Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear.

• Cosmetic damage including scratches or dents.

• Damage caused by misuse, negligence or accidents.

• Damage caused by excessive force.

• Damage caused by slamming the doors.

• Damage resulting from blocked tracks or rollers.

• Damage caused by hair, pet hair, dust or dirt preventing the rollers from operating correctly.

• Damage caused by trapped clothing, footwear or other objects.

• Damage caused by overloading the wardrobe.

• Damage caused by water leaks, excessive moisture or flooding.

• Damage caused by structural movement of the building.

• Repairs or alterations carried out by anyone other than SK ProDesign.

7. Maintenance

The sliding door tracks and rollers should be inspected and cleaned regularly.

Failure to maintain the wardrobe may reduce the lifespan of the sliding system.

Damage resulting from poor maintenance is not covered by this warranty.

8. After-Sales Service

We are happy to provide maintenance and repair services after the warranty period.

Out-of-warranty service charges are:

• Up to sixty kilometres from our location: €100.

• More than sixty kilometres from our location: €150.

Replacement parts, materials and additional labour are charged separately.

Any additional costs will always be discussed and agreed with the customer before repair work begins.

9. Liability

SK ProDesign shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from misuse of the product or failure to follow these Terms and Conditions.

Our liability is limited to the repair or replacement of defective components covered under this warranty.
